Rehwald Chosen as DAC Pitcher of Week

IRVING, Texas – Dallas College Eastfield's Teague Rehwald was chosen as the Dallas Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week.

It is the second time this season he's been named the conference Pitcher of the Week.

A sophomore from Frisco, Texas, Rehwald went six innings, allowing two runs, two hits and a walk, while matching his career best with 10 strikeouts in a 22-2 win over Dallas College North Lake. It is the second time this year he's had 10 punchouts.

Rehwald improved to 3-0 with a 5.26 ERA and 49 strikeouts in 37.2 innings this season.

No. 2 Eastfield (27-4, 9-0 DAC) will host North Central Texas College 12 p.m. Monday before beginning a three-game series with No. 5 Dallas College Richland (20-10, 9-0) at home noon Wednesday.
