Bio

Harold McKinney was named Dallas College Eastfield eSports head coach in the fall of 2025.

He oversees titles including Tekken, Street Fighter and Marvel Rivals for the Harvester Bees.

McKinney began working with Optic Gaming in the Dallas-Fort Worth area in event management and operations in 2022. In 2011, he began a simulated racing career, organizing events and working with sim companies. 

From 2011-15, he competed as semi-professional gamer in Call of Duty. In 2015, his team went 108-8, advancing to the playoffs.

McKinney graduated with an Associate of Arts from Mountain View College in 2015. He earned a Bachelor of Science in business and IT management from Western Governors University in 2021.
