Simes Named First Team NJCAA DIII All-American

After a stellar season of averaging 24.6 points, 7.7 rebounds, 4.1 assists and shooting 53.2 percent from the field and helping Dallas College Eastfield men's basketball team make a National Junior College Athletic Association Division III Final Four appearance, Spencer Simes was chosen as a First Team NJCAA DIII All-American.

Simes was also named Dallas Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year, First Team All-NJCAA Region V, First Team All-DAC, and was selected the league's Player of the Week seven times.

He scored in double figures in every game as a Harvester Bee, including a career-best 51 in a 108-78 win over Dallas Christian College Junior Varsity on Nov. 4. Simes scored 40 points or more three times, while averaging 31.5 minutes in 35 games.
