Reliford Showcased at NJCAA Rising Stars Games

NJCAA RISING STARS

COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa -- Dallas College Eastfield men's basketball's Dwayne Reliford competed in the NJCAA Rising Stars Games this past weekend.

Reliford, a 6-foot-5 rising sophomore forward from Chicago, averaged 12 points and 4.3 rebounds in three games. He had 14 points and seven rebounds, while shooting 6 of 7 from the floor, in Cochran Showcase's 106-101 win over Marquis Showcase. Reliford scored 14 points, grabbed three rebounds, and had two steals and a block in Cochran's 96-86 win over Shaw Showcase.

Reliford was one of two NJCAA Division III players selected by the NJCAA Basketball Coaches Association from a pool of 60 players to the invitation showcase event.
