McDonald Named DAC Player of Week

IRVING, Texas – Dallas College Eastfield's Reggie McDonald has been named the Dallas Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week.

A sophomore guard from Dallas, McDonald averaged 20.5 points, while shooting 44 percent from the field. He had 24 points, knocking down 6 of 11 three-point field goals, three steals and three rebounds in a 73-64 win over No. 9 Connors State College. He had 17 points, three rebounds, two steals and a block in a win over CYM Prep.

McDonald is averaging 9.7 points and 2.1 steals per game.

Eastfield (4-4) will play Temple College 6 p.m. Tuesday.
