Campbell Named DAC Player of Week
IRVING, Texas – Dallas College Eastfield's Braydon Campbell was chosen as the Dallas Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week.
A 6-foot-3 freshman point guard from Angleton, Texas, Campbell averaged 20.5 points, 6.5 assists, three rebounds and 1.5 steals per game in a pair of DAC wins for the Harvester Bees. He had 20 points, six assists, five rebounds and two steals in a 76-68 win over Dallas College Brookhaven. Campbell scored 21 points on 6-of-11 shooting, dished out seven assists and had one steal in an 83-76 victory over Dallas College North Lake.
Campbell is averaging 12.9 points, 4.3 assists and 1.4 steals per game this season.
Eastfield will take its 8-5 overall, 3-0 DAC record into the holiday break. The Harvesters improved to 6-0 at home.
