Campbell Wins Second DAC Player of Week Honor

IRVING, Texas – Dallas College Eastfield's Braydon Campbell was named the Dallas Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week.

A 6-foot-3 freshman point guard from Angleton, Texas, Campbell averaged 18.7 points, 5.7 assists, 3.7 rebounds and two steals in three wins for the No. 10 Harvester Bees last week. He had 14 points, seven rebounds, five assists, two blocks and a steal in a win over Community Christian College Southwest. Campbell scored 13 points, had four assists and two steals in a win over Loyalty College Prep one night later. He finished the week with a season-high 29 points on 12-of-19 shooting, matched a season high with eight assists, and added three steals in a victory over Creating Young Minds Prep.

It is the second time he's won the league's weekly honor this season.

Campbell is averaging 14 points and 4.6 assists, while shooting 47.2 percent from the field.

Eastfield (11-5, 3-0 DAC) hosts No. 2 Dallas College Richland (10-6, 3-0) at 6 p.m. Wednesday as conference play resumes.
