Marentes Named DAC Player of Week

Dallas College Eastfield's Andrea Marentes was named the Dallas Athletic Conference women's soccer Player of the Week.

Marentes scored two goals in a 5-0 win over Southwestern Adventist University last Wednesday. It was the first two goals of the season for the sophomore forward from Dallas, whose four points are second on the team.

Her efforts helped the Harvester Bees collect their first win of the season.

Eastfield (1-2) opens DAC play 6 p.m. Friday at home against Dallas College North Lake.
