PLAYER SPOTLIGHT- Aleyna Gerlach

Aleyna Gerlach (Devine, Texas) is in her Freshman year for Dallas College- Eastfield Volleyball. Aleyna is pursuing a career in Health Science.

Question and Answer portion:

Q: How has your first month been at Dallas College- Eastfield?

A: Really good! The people here are really nice and I enjoy living on my own and having a built in community. 

Q: What do you think about living in Dallas?

A: It's really fun! I hate that there is no H-E-B's but I live five minutes away from a Dutch Brothers so I am good. I just like being here and being from a small town, Dallas is a good change of pace. 

Q: Why did you chose Dallas College- Eastfield Vollyball?

A: Everyone I meet on my visit was very welcoming and I really like the location. Also, I feel that I had natural chemistry with my teammates. 

Q: How are your classes and academics at Eastfield?

A: Fun! I really enjoy Coach Henry's Kinesiology class and College Algebra! 

Q: What are some of your goals for this year?

A: Winning a Conference Championship! Having a 4.0 GPA! and improving on my time management skills.
