Santos, Mosley Named AVCA All-Americans
LEXINGTON, Ky. – Dallas College Eastfield volleyball's Mia Santos was named an American Volleyball Coaches Association Two-Year College First Team All-American.
Eastfield's Madison Mosley was named a Third Team All-American.
A sophomore outside hitter from Forney, Texas, Santos had 421 kills, 249 digs, 63 aces and 23 blocks, while posting a .276 hitting percentage. She had a career-best 24 kills in the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III semifinal win over Rochester Community & Technical College. She also pounded 23 kills in two other matches.
A freshman outside hitter from Mesquite, Texas, Mosely had 332 kills, 284 digs, 53 blocks and 34 aces. She had a season-high 19 kills in a sweep of Seminole State College. She had 18 kills in a five-set match at Cisco College.
Eastfield went 31-1 to win the national championship for the third straight year.
