No. 1 Harvester Bees Sweep No. 11 Bears in DAC Opener

FARMERS BRANCH, Texas – Dallas College Eastfield's No. 1-ranked volleyball team swept the Dallas Athletic Conference opener at No. 11 Dallas College Brookhaven Monday night 25-12, 25-14, 25-16.

The Harvester Bees (16-1, 1-0 DAC) hit a season-high .344, putting away 43 kills in the sweep.

Maidson Mosley hit .467, and banged down 14 kills to go along with 10 digs and three blocks. Mia Santos had 11 kills, and hit .304. Mylah Arzaga had 17 assists and two aces. Kira Smith had four blocks, and Megann Mullins added three. Patience Gibson had 14 digs and four aces.

The Bees hit .481 in the first set, coming just two errors in 27 attacks. They had 14 or more kills in each of the three sets.

Eastfield will play at No. 7 Dallas College North Lake (7-8, 1-0) at 6 p.m. Thursday.
